AR App: Location-based Augmented Reality App to Explore the Hidden History in San Francisco
AR Historic Experience uses Augmented Reality in GIS. Locating assets around users can be seen easier through a camera's lenses on a phone or tablet. Through an augmented reality view, we can be more intuitively represent hidden assets (historical photographs), reducing the time needed for people to find what they were looking for or enhance their knowledge of the surrounding location.
